October & November

The past two months have flown by! Above are some highlights. I went on a self directed oyster tour/vacation to Maine, saw the fall colors in the Midwest, dressed scary for the first time this Halloween (the best!), and cooked good savory food. I printed two new holiday designs with bright red liners and shipped to shops like a madwoman. Finally I sold at Renegade Craft fair Brooklyn, for the first time ever. All whirlwind goodness! Happy Thanksgiving friends!

Notebooks in the shop!

These pocket-sized notebooks have a deconstructed weave and mountain design letterpress printed into beach colored cardstock with green and rose colored inks.
Each notebook measures 7" tall and 3.25" wide, is filled with 24 pages of blank white paper made from sugarcane husks and bamboo and comes packaged in earth friendly biodegradable clear sleeve.
Perfect for keeping your to-do list or sketchbook close at hand. Get yours set here.

Paper and envelops? check. check.
Polymer plate? check!
My very first polymer plate came in the mail yesterday and I'm chomping at the bit to get into the printing press studio. This will be the first of many letterpressed paper products for the online shop. Also known as the paper side of Papersheep. Stay tuned.
Happy last week of June everyone!

Letterpress love

This weekend I tried something new! After signing up over a month in advance (this place is popular) I attended the letterpress workshop at The Arm in wonderful Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The owner of the shop, Dan, took me and 7 other lovers of type, through the process of printing on a Vandercook press using both polymer plates and old school wood and metal block type. I loved every second! To celebrate my new found knowledge, I'm selling a few of the prints made in class by moi (and my wonderful class partner, Kate) in the shop. Yep, this amazing print can be yours! Start picturing it on your wall now... Happy Monday everyone! photograph by gina houseman
