Scandinavian architects Tham & Videgård built the Mirrorcube to give people an experience of nature from the treetops from a warmly designed interior space.

I'm saving this idea in my "when I have a house (and remodel project) of my own" bank.... so inventive and inviting... Dutch designer Piet Hein Eek covered the walls of this Amsterdam loft with doors from the buildings that were torn down to make way for a residential development.
